Simon Binon - Public Prize winner 2022

Simon comes from Bunsbeek in Vlaams Brabant. The son of renowned trumpetist Kris Binon, Simon has shown the utmost distinction from an extremely early age, taking part in soloist competitions from as young as 6 years old. Next year, he will begin his studies with the principle trumpetist of the Luxembourg Philharmonic orchestra, Simon Van Hoecke at the Conservatory of Antwerpen. Today he plays as a soloist across Europe.
